5. SAN GIMIGNANO
San Gimignano is one of the small treasures of Tuscany and still today it preserves its medieval appearance intact.
It is a small village perched on a hill overlooking the Tuscan countryside with its 14 medieval towers that characterize the city center.
It is known as the "city of beautiful towers" and it has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
